I found the Line Weight option under Settings but it doesn't appear to apply to sections. I just want the line weight to be heavier outlining things cut in section.

What you are looking to change is controlled through object styles "Cut".

hi there please can you tell me how i can alter the line weight with my drawings such as sections and plans, currently my 2d drawings look a bit to dull please any advice will be highly appreciated and wether we can do 3d constrcution detail drawings on revit please let me knw video tutorials woul dbe great .. muf

Typhoon!!! need your help you are not at my rescue upto now, i need you to rescue me with the my question as always very urgently my review is in a weeks time and i need my drawings to look good... muf

type "vv" and the visibility window will open the on the bottom click on "object styles" and the object style window will open then click on the annotation tab and look for the section line and the section mark there you will be able to change line weight and color. let me know if it help

MUFU, lol, did you read the post before from WWhub????? "Object Styles"???? "CUT"?????? you said "currently my 2d drawings look a bit to dull " - Like what?? did you print that and take a look??? what is wrong???? some images please....

hi thanks manny ur reply helped me a bit but my concern rite now (typhoon) how do i get my 3d detail drawins and also 2d give me an example i knwo sometimes those things are quite easy but to figure out takes time so i would like some assistance there and i will post images of pdf of my 2d drawings later rite now am worried abt the detailing aspect and wether if there are some issues u can modify in them coz i know my model will have a lot of problems with wall as joining and floor so let know how i can do the details.. thanks muf
