Hi!

I'm completly new to Revit. I have learnt a bit with some tutorials videos. I find it a bit difficult in some ways than autocad and easier in others but what I most like are the 3d views, perspectives and walkthrough.

sometimes when I use the camera, I don't get the result I was expecting. this is an example.

As you see in the imgage it's all white and in the part of the entrance it's horrible. It would be intresting if at least shows a sky background.

Is that possible or waht do you recommend me to do?

also, how can "erase" those lines that are from coulumns and the floor (structural things)

Thanks a lot!

Yup all under the render settings and environment... you can get Revit to generate the sky and clouds for you, or pick an image to use....this is for Revit 2008

In 2009 the interface is easier as Revit now uses Mental Ray - much much better quality renderings and faster to!

You might like to look at this for setting up your lighting.... (if you are on 2008 or earlier)

Yes ... go to Rendering --> Settings---> Environment --> choose what you want, either the generic type sky using Automatic sky and clouds, or you can choose "background image" and upload a sky jpeg.  Good luck : -)
