Hello there, If you are merely trying to get a schedule into excel format, you don't need OBDC. All you need to do is got to your schedule. Then go to file>export>schedule. It'll save it as a delimiter text file. Then go to Excel. Go to Data>import external data...>import data. Go find your .txt delimiter text file and you'll get a few dialogs to edit your excel layout. I just leave as default, and click finish. You'll see all your schedule in. Now you'll probably have to edit it a bit as you lose merged cells etc. But a lot easier than typing it out! Hope that helps, Lorne

hrmmm well that stumps me. I went to my door schedule and it worked fine. I would say just make sure your schedule is the active window and also make sure it's a Revit schedule. Not a legend or drawing view. Make sense?

Exporting is nice, but what is the use of it, if you can't import Excel file back to Revit? Or, maybe I don't know how? I'm trying to link AutoCAD file with linked Excel schedules, it does not work, Revit don't take schedules. Maybe I do something wrong?

" Well the only use I see, is when you need to send your door/window schedule to say a consultant to edit it and they don't have Revit. I don't know how to import back into Revit, as the schedule is linked to actual model objects so I don't think it's possible (not for sure). As for autocad, I try not to use it. So I can't help you there. Sorry.
