I do not typical provide graphical column schedules on my construction drawings. I am in the process of creating a column schedule more to our company standard and the first schedule column heading is typical grid location. Is there a way to provide this column heading for a column schedule, as I do not see this in the list of parameters? If a parameter had to be created for this, how would I do that specifically for grid location? I am new to Revit Structure, so I might just be missing something simple (as I cannot believe Revit will show the grid location in the "Graphical Column Schedule" but not list this as a parameter choice when setting up a generic column schedule. Thanks for the help!

Ok, how about this one... Since there were not any replies with my question above I can only assume two things; 1) you're doing this in a different app, or 2) you are all using Graphical Column Schedules. I am hoping it is the latter as I have a question concerning the graphical schedule. I had to change my project levels by 100'. The graphical column schedule is still using 0'-0" at level 1 instead of the new elevation 100'. Any ideas how to get it to read the associated level elevation? Thanks!

I haven't created column schedules yet. I know 2009 will schedule columns off grid using a graphical column schedule. I'm going on a course tomorrow so I'll ask if the grid reference can be included in a normal schedule and let you know. Phil.

It doesn't look like a normal column schedule can pick up the column locations in Revit Structure 2009. It's annoying as Revit is able to locate columns in the graphical column schedule so somewhere, deep inside Revit, there is a parameter that does this.

Thanks for the heads up. It buried somewhere is right...just need to get Autodesk to expose it! I have gone back to a more generic format for my column schedule which has been working so far. When the giant software guys allow the parameter to become "visible" I'll use it! Thanks again-
