I have a wood framed wall with a stone wainscot that needs to extend past the bottom of the wall down to grade. I have found that I can unlock the bottom of individual layers in the wall type, but not sweeps. Is there another way to make this work?

since it is a wall sweep, that means it uses a profile family... open that family, modfy the profile as you need it modified, then reload into project. If you are talking about repositioning the wainscot, then you can change it's position within the wall sweep tool (located in the wall edit area, when preview is showing a section view). Hope this helps.
