I have my object visable and even have figured out how to make it a smooth stucco. The problem is that every brick object in the drawing changes to stucco, Even walls that are not touching it change. If I try to change the objects that I want to be brick back to brick the object that I want to be stucco changes back to brick. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have tried detaching them. It has no effect.

You obviously don't yet understand the program and how it functions. Spend some time with your help menu and if you have it, the Tutorial book that you can get with your software. Look in help using the term materials.
