Revit Architecure 2008.  Is there a way to create a 3d view from a reflected ceiling plan.

Why would you??????  Just use the plan.  You control what you see, including the ceiling, in the 3d view.

I have a very complicated roof with lots of cathedral ceilings.  I want to be able to show the client what the ceiling is going to look like in a 3d view.

That's why you do it from the plan.... and make sure the ceiling is turned on.

Or did you want to do it from the space betweeen the top of the ceiling and the structure above?  I doubt it but you can still do it from the plan view and F8 ... walkthrough .... adjust where your camera is.

Can you use a camera view looking up from below and just hide in view everything you don't want to see?

Once you set your view, you can adjust where you are looking F8 (the eye).  Explore the wlkthrough tab too.  You can control everything, just like your plans, using VG and hide in view process.
