Everything shows up normally in the default 3D view, but in camera view my structural columns and most of my walls are blacked out.  Anyone know what is causing this?

When you're setting up your camera view, are you sure what you want to show is in the camera view lines?  You might have to drag it out further to include everything you want to show.  Anyone else with ideas?

Is your column wood or concrete? Check your Element properties, Surface pattern. If there's an entry of hatch pattern try removing it for now. You can switch view detail to coarse or medium to observe the effect.

Everything I want to show is within camera view, and it shows up but it's just blacked out.  As for the columns, I had a bit of a brain fart and didn't zoom in before I posted this, so those are fine, however my walls are still black.  Everything shows up fine upon rendering so it's not a real issue, just an annoyance.  Thanks anyway for the suggestions.  If anyone knows why my walls are blacked out I'd still love to know.  By the way I'm using Revit architecture 2008.
