I am getting ready to start my first reflected ceiling plan in Revit. It is for an existing building with 99% of the ceilings will be the existing floor / roof structure exposed. To make things more complicated, the existing floor / roof construction is a mix of different types of materials… for example: the second floor construction is made up of existing exposed concrete in some areas, existing exposed wood decking in some areas, & existing steel decking in other areas… and is supported by existing steel beams. What is the best way to do a reflected ceiling plan showing these existing conditions and new lighting we will be adding? Should I make different floor types? Anyone know of a good tutorial for this?
