Hello Everyone I need to know if anyone else out there has this wierd bug I use Revit 08 on XP 32, a Quadro vid card, with dual monitors. The wierd bug is this: Every day one of my monitors goes black, Windows freezes. Similar to a reboot, but not a reboot at all, it just "hangs". Then I wait....The monitor flashes, (sometimes both of them) then, hopefully, Revit returns. This only happens on my workstation. Our PCs are all networked, and identical, except for mine uses two monitors. I use many other programs, and this does not happen with any of them, only REVIT. I'm happy to share any other information about my setup. Please Help this is driving me crazy!!

I share the same problem. Do you use your keyboard shortcuts? I think what causing it is the time for the graphics card to respond. I have a dual monitor and before I used to type or click ahead (in advance) befiore of a previous command finishes (the one's we do in autocad). Whenever I do that, it shuts down one of my monitor and then the another without a reboot. As they always say, "Revit is not Autocad."

Interesting Theroy, yes I use shortcuts (AL MM TR ...hehe) But If I really dont want this to happen I dissconnect one of my monitors, and everything is fine. Im wondering if its a memory problem on the video card. Or monitor problems, BTW I have a sansung syncmaster 215 and a Hansol 19" crt The thing is..I never really span the revit window across the 2 screens, because Revit doesnt save the workspace. So annoying...everyother program in the universe can save dualscreen workspaces.
