I'm putting my first project into Revit, so I don't know a lot yet. I have my elevations and plans finished, but can't find a way to get the gypsum hatch pattern to show up on the RCP and not on my elevations. I've tried different things with the pattern and cut pattern options in the properties box, but when I change the properties of the walls, the properties of the ceiling change with it. Any suggustions? Thanks! (Revit Architecture 200

In your View Properties, under Visibility/Graphics, you can turn off the surface patterns for walls (but that will turn off all wall surface patterns) To do that, select Walls, to the right, under Projection/Surface, click Override on the Surface side, and uncheck visible. If you want JUST the gyp bd to be hatched/unhatched, I'd make a new material that has no pattern. Hope that helps.
