Just want to verify i am doing this right. We have a new project, yes our first with Revit, so i just start a new project and then import the arch revit model as a link right? I then model our structure right over the top of thiers? Is this somewhat correct?

I think you want to learn about copy / monitor. You don't want to just import. Again ... look in help under monitor - then multi-discipline coordination. BTW - There is a REVIT User's manual and an Imperial or Metric Tutorial available from your distributor that will help you a lot.
