This is probably something really stupid, but I'm all out of ideas. When I use the standard or section brick detail component the brick fill pattern is out of scale. If I edit family the pattern looks great, but once back in the project I get one diagonal line for each brick if they're separate and in the repeating detail I get a diagonal line about every 8 bricks. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

What is you view scale? The pattern is probably a drafting pattern which means it will be more or less dense depending on the scale of the view.

Really...I thought that the hatch would scale itself as I changed scales. The view scale will most likely be 3/4" for wall sections. Is there a way to change the drafting hatch scale?

2D hatch patterns do not scale ... meaning they stay the same relative to paper. 3D hatch patters will scale with the scale of the view.

The brick I'm using is just a detail component. I'm bummed that Revit doesn't show individual bricks/blocks when cutting a wall section. Hopefully in the future you'll be able to add more information to the wall type and individual elements can be shown at large scales. Oh well...for now, how do I change the scale of the 2D hatch? Thanks for your help!

as a standard practice, things like brick and block in a section cut are done by deatiling over the 3d model with detail components. there are other ways, but that the most basic way.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do, but when I select the detail component for brick the hatch is all messed up. Is there a way to change the hatch scale of a detail component? I was just saying that it would be nice if someday we didn't have to draw over the sections with detail components.
