Hello!   My question is simple so hopefully there is a simple answer!

How do you get the footing to show as continuous under the wall's door openings?

Usually you have a slab with a perimeter footing, or stem wall the footing will follow the stem wall

Thanks mbsteve.  This is an old post I thought would never get a response.

My issue is with an interior LB wall (stud) with the footing added from the Structural tab of the design bar.  Actually, Revit calls it a "Foundation" then you select the "Wall" flyout and add the footing family.  It snaps to the base of the wall and moves with the wall - which is great!  However, after I place a door into that LB wall, the footing ends at the jambs of the door.  Structurally, yes, there is no load uner the opening created for the door but in reality, they footing would just get poured through.

I guess I should just use a slab thickener at that wall but in reality, that's not how it would be done in real life for most circumstances.  I guess I'm just wondering how others solve this issue.

Put a concrete beam under it, and fuse the slab to the beam, it may not move together with the wall.
