Revit Architecture 2008. I have created a timber frame truss as a mass. It displays correctly on the screen but when I print it out the truss is transparent.

We had the same problem. You need to make sure that the material is actually set to something (the default is transparent). If tat doesnt work then it just seems to be a bug. Basically dont create anything as a mass, use the modeling CREATE button (its actually a command). This will create an inplace family which is almost exactly the same as a mass but it allows you to place the items in catagories and sub catagories. This also seems to fix the plot issues. HTH Nick
