I've got 2 masses I'm trying to join but keep getting an error msg "can't keep elements joined" one of the elements is a curved extrusion drawn in a section veiw, the other is an extrusion drawn in plan view. They inersect each other but wont join. What could cause them not to join?

Hey That error sounds like a common error when modelling delicate curves, generally occuring when a curve slightly touches or slightly misaligns with something else. Would you like to post an image to show us whats happening?
