I need to move the footing of our foundation down, but I can't find where to edit it. It's not in the properties. HELP!

Footings are attached to the bottom of the wall. They have thickness and width but the elevation is controlled by the bootom of the wall itself. You should probably have a look at the REVIT CADclip tutorials at www.CADclips.com

or, instead of paying for unnecessary tutorials, someone could just tell you. have you tried creating a new level for the wall height? if you don't want to make a new level, right click the wall, go to element properties, and adjust the offset (this will be a negative number since you are trying to move it down) of the base constraint for the wall. the footing will follow it. also, if you google keywords like "footing" with "revit architecture 2008" or "2009," you should be able to find plenty of blogs addressing beginning issues. many of the people running the blogs are Revit consultants for firms, so they break down the steps better than some tutorials.
