I'm a high school student who is persuing a career in civil engineering, in the areas of urban planning and/or mass transit engineering.  I look forward to posting in these forums, it looks awesome.  =D

 If anyone has any tips for me about anything, I'm a wide open shot.

Hey!  I think one of the most important things to do in the beginning is a very simple thing - read the user's guide for program. Simply print it out and if not other, read a couple of chapters every day before sleep... This is how you get the basic philosophy and from there you can start your way going "deeper"! Other thing is this forum - one of the best things that I found for myself for solving problems... most of the stuff has been discussed and if not, you can always start a new thread...
