I'm using Revit 2008 and when I import a 3D cad topo file to create the topography, the points do not seem to be importing/elevating correctly. When I create a toposurface, all the topo lines are correct in relation to each other but they do not match the elevations in the cad file-they are about 100-200 feet off. I've imported the file center to center and it doesn't elevate the survey correctly, I've manually placed it at level 1, automatically placed it, etc and nothing seems to be working. I have left both the link box and the current view only box unchecked. I've created multiple toposurfaces and have never come across this problem. Is my only option to manually move the topo to the level I need it at? I need the topo Revit generates to be as close to the survey file as possible and moving the topo doesn't seem like a very good way to go about it.
