Is there anyway to import from 3DS Max into revit? For example, I need a barcelona chair for a project and found a really great .3ds one. I changed the leather color and now need to import it into a revit family file. If I do this as a dwg then I loose the materials, same with a DXF. HELP!

well u can simply archive the file along with the materials or else just export the file in DWG. formatt & import in 3ds max from file menu/file link manager & if the material is lost just apply the material from revit. Regards, Chirag C. Pawar Cad Solution Application Engineer
