I am working on a 6-story project.  Whenever we recieve a new linked file we have to do the coordination.  Well, after getting passed that, whether it be using the coordination tool or just deleting and re-copying everything, i am trying to copy the rooms.  I keep getting an error message which states:

"No Rooms could be copied.  Check that the options have Phases configured and that the levels in the linked file are monitored".

Can anyone help me with this.  Is it so obvious I am missing it?  I have the phases set to New Construction, which is the only one with rooms in it and I have all my stuff being monitored.  Please help.

I'm having the exact same problem.  I'm monitoring all of the levels and under option/rooms/ I've set parameters and selected the proper phases to match the architects 2 phases.  It still gives me the error message "No Rooms Could Be Copied"...etc.

Thanks .

Matt

Update: Problem solved.

The Architect defined intermediate levels in a seperate workset for the new construction portion of the project. They were adding a couple of inches of concrete to parts of the existing uneven floor to make it level, so they defined a new set of levels in the 'new construction' phase.  The rooms were defined resident to the intermediate levels.  These levels were not visible in the linked file.  I had to go into the central architectural file & redefine the workset of that level to match the standard levels & phase information.  Only then could I see the intermediate levels that the rooms were resident on.  I copy/monitored the intermediate levels in my MEP file and then was able to copy the rooms over.
