I've been racking my brain with ideas on how to tag a Joist System and have come up with a couple of ideas but no solutions. I'm not at the skill level to pursue. I have two problems. 1. Is there any way to lower a beam system to a work plane other than the levels created. ( I need to lower a joist system by 3" and don't want to create a bunch of new levels. 2. The "Structural Beam System Tag.rfa" that comes with Revit goes against the office convention of annotating joists. We label Joists in the direction of their length not the direction of the span of the system. I've been messing around with trying to create a new RFA but can't seem to get the "length" arrows to 'stretch' to the limits of the beam system. I've included my attempt at creating this. Am I moving in the right direction or barking up the wrong tree. Thanks Scott
