Once you download a Car or truck from the family explorer how do you change the body color to show an actual color when you go to render the car. When I go to render the car it comes up as a grayish/white mcurse There is no color assigned to the car. But in model view it shows it as a color.
Thanks in advance.

You have to figure out what materials have been assigned to each part of the car and then in your project assign the texture and color you want for that material.
Since you didn't create the car, what I do is open it up in the family editor and figure out what the material categories and assignments are. If I can live with the creators methodoligy, I make note of them, if not, I make my own material categories and assignments. If you change anything in the family, be sure to save and re-load into your project.
Once in the project go to "settings" "materials" and make sure you have a texture from the Accurender library assigned to each material in the car.
This is one of my pet peeves of families is the unkown materials being assigned.
Hope this helps.
Tom
PS If the car is an RPC car then yu have to live with whatever color it is. Check out the whole RPC collection at: www.archvison.com
