if I understnad you correctly, you can turn on the RCP overlay and use linework to assign lines you like to see on your plan. in this case perhaps hidden line to represent overhead lines. after you assign the line you will then turn off the overlay and the hidden line will stay on. warning: the overhead lines are the actual objects, so be careful when you move or delete them.

Hey Niro, Thanks for the response, but I guess i mis-communicated what I'm trying to achieve, The model lines that I create appear underneath actual 3 dimensional objects (walls, doors, etc.), I want the model lines to appear above these objects. Thanks for taking the time (anyone!) vf

The model lines will have to be created on a plane that is at the level you want them to be.

" How do you get an "Overlay" to turn on? I try to go and turn on the RCP Underlay but my RCPs don't show up inthe view properties. How do I get the RCP on or off as an underlay to accomplish what you're explaining? Thanks, Lorne
