Is there an easy way to set up your 3D revit model so that the layers, when brought into AutoCAD are all different eg the window frames can be distinguisged from the glcurseand different glcurse are on different layers. I'm wanting to know this so I can then import the AutoCAD files into Rayfront and Lightscape.\
I suppose im asking if anyone knows how to use Lightscape or Rayfront using a revit model instead of an AutoCAD

If you go to File-export/import settings-export lines dwg/dfx, you can see and change the linetype, layers that the objects in your model are exported to, when you export to Autocad. Hope this helps.
