Hiya

I am using Revit Architecture 2008 and have a situation where we require different total area plans for different phases of the development. However when the area boundry is amended in any phase it affects all of them. Has anyone came across this problem before and if so have they managed to solve the problem. The project has more than 3 phases so it is not possible to use the rentable, GIA and gross for each phase.

 Cheers all the same

Mont

All, I was wondering if anyone  has / you've found a solution to this? We've tried phases and worksets to try to differentiate different phase area plans but to no avail. The only quick solution we can find is to do separate files which seems crazy...

thanks in advance

Update - I've thinked I've somewhat answered my question - make sure walls are correctly demo'd and that rooms are used - not areas though - then the tags with the room number are a pain... seems a little counterintuitive using rooms are for showing gross building areas and not the OTOB areas but if anyone else has better ideas then please let me know...
