when ref plane don 't display in hidden line in all views ,how should i select it?

Go to the view (typ. an elevation) where the ref plane should be and you ought to be able to see it appear when you mouseover the hidden line. Sometimes it takes a sec to find it. Make sure that it would be seen in this elevation.

Using V7.0, you need to check that the 3D extents intersect the Plane of the view and it must also intersect at right angles in order to display. HTH.

thanks both of you for your response.what i ask is that if ref plane is not at the right angle,for example ,i creat a ref plane in the floor plane view ,then in the any elevation view rotate it 30 degree, so the ref plane is not at the right angle ,and in the all views,it can not display in hidden line.so how can i do to select it?
