Hi

I've run into a probem.

I can easily split a wall in EQ sized sub walls in plan view (as many as a want), by using the dimension tool and EQ. I can also split a wall in elevation view (vertically) in 2 EQ sized subwalls. But I can't split a wall in 3 EQ sized wall in elevation. It pops up with an error - "constraints are not satified." Why am i only allowed to split a wall into 2 and not 3 EQ sized walls ? I've startet a blank project just to make sure i havent constraint anything that i shouldn't.

Im going crazy!!!

Really hobe somebody can explain it to me :O)

it's simple, create a wall in plan view, than go to the elevation view, create 2 "Ref Plane", it's not important the distance between them, than create a dimension "Wall Faces" into the base of wall, ref planes and top of the wall, make "EQ", than split the wall by the ref planes.

I hope that's what you want...

Did you know you don't even have to create ref planes? just split the wall....go to 3d view... add you continuous dimension and then hit EQ - sweet
