Our firm is working on on first project in Revit2008. I do not understand how and what controls annotations, symbols, etc. from view to view. I get how to "Hide Elements / Catagory's" etc. but do not know how to retrieve section symbols, or notes I put on one view and now want them on another? I have access to CAD clips, if they have a tutorial on this??

Simple .... as a general rule, if the view (section, call-out - elevation) physically would be in your view and if the VG is set to show them, then they will show. Exmp. Sections cut in one plan that extend through another level will show up in the other plan level. Interior elevationscalled out in a plan callout WILL SHOW in the root plan where the plan call out is created.
