Greeting all,

First things first.. I'm currently using Revit MEP 2008 Long Story), but I'm waiting for the Revit Architecture 2008 to be delivered.

I'm currently in the process of creating a bunch of content for our office, and I've come accross a stumper.  I haven't put together the more complex families but I'm now starting on them and finding out some intresting limitations, so any pointers / tips would be greatly appreciated.  So, here is the issue.  I'm currently working on Site plan content,  I'm wanting to put together some families that will automatically draw out the parking spaces  (minimum spacing provided by a parameter) and number them as I go (autonumber tag or annotation).  We'll I looked at using a array in the annotation with variables, But of course I'll get circular references and have no idea on how to overcome that issue unless there is a formula that's unknown to me that will work within Revit.  But then an idea hit me, a door tag has the ability to "autonumber" in a respect that it take the last number and adds one to it.  I guess it knows or schedules the family type as it goes.  Was wondering if anyone has done something similar and can explain what I need to do in order for this to work for me. or is it just not possible?
