I have a fill legend that shows floor finishes. I want to be able to include the square footage ex. (Carpet = ??? SF, Tile = ??? SF, etc) Is there a way to do this Thanks

Add additonal labels to the room tag family to extract the data that you want. You can apply visibilty parameters to the labels in order to create your family types.

I have a semilar problem - i need help adding square footage to a color scheme legend. I would like to know how to have the legend show both departments and the area held by each department - per floor.

I don't think you can include both the area and floor finish in the same scheme. Use a schedule as shown in the attached image.
