I've been attempting to create a family for an equipment screen. I've tried it using the imperial generic template, a curtain wall, curtain wall panel. I haven't had any trouble modeling the actual pieces of the equipment screen, but I must not have the family set up correctly. Please advise on the best way to go about this. The screen has louvers spaced 6" apart, mounted horizontally to 2.5"x2.5" angles. I thought about leaving out the vertical supports altogether and just drafting them in details for simplicity in the 3D model. I think I figured out how to get the # of louvers in the array to be Length / 6". This family isn't coming into my project in a way that I can use it (adjust length, trim corners, etc.) I've attached a file that when I load into project is a curtainwall panel. So I draw a curtain wall and set this as the panel. It doesn't clean up at corners. I'm thinking of taking the angles out of the family and making those mullions. Don't know if this is the right way to go about it at all. Help please!
