Ive JUST started on revit, and am building up a house at work. Im so stuck on the roof! it is a square roof  lets say flat roof for now). each corner has a different level, and therefore each side has a different slope. So it slopes from the top corner to the opposite one. I dont have any edge that can define the slope...i have tried every beginner method i can think of,please help :}

Instead of defining the slope of the edges, define the slope of the whole surface. You can do this with a slope arrow. To do this, select the roof you've created, click onclick on 'Slope Arrow' (on your tool bar) and draw the arrow from the low point to the high point. While the arrow is selected go into the properties of it and define the height of the arrow tail and the arrow head. Hope this helps.
