Does anyone know why when I print sheets with shadows turned on they take FOREVER to print?  I'm printing some 18x24 SD sheets and it is only at 17% of sheet 1 of 4 after 10 minutes!!!

 Any work arounds?

Any thoughts?  Thanks,

Lorne

Were any of your views dependent or duplicated views?

Nope, none were dependent or duplicate views.  There was one sheet with 4 perspectives.  and three sheets with elevations.  They printed out...finally but if I need to print out a set and get it to a client, that's not going to happen.  Anyone have this same issue?  Is it our plotter or Revit that's taking forever?

When we print black & white with no shadows it goes quick...just like any normal print job would take.

One of our staff had problems with shaded and shadowed views when they were dependent or duplicated views but otherwise they are not a problem.

Have you printed some shaded with shadow views in the past?

I've tried it on a couple projects now and it takes a really long time.  Anyone else experiementing this problem?  I have to let Revit print the sheets overnight...cuz I don't want to wait around for them.

I am printing 24x36 to a Cannon Plotter
