easiest way to drop the topography down is to go to an elevation, select it, and just use the move tool to move it down a few inches.  The other way to edit topo is to select it, hit "Edit Surface" (a button that'll appear in the upper right) and then select each topo point and change it's value (likely the default 0' 0") to something negative, like -0' 2".

 

But I'd just move it down for now.

Just a question: inside your building didn't you create a PAD ?

So.. if you have a PAD why your topo is showing in that view? also, just change the "Height offset from level" of that pad...

It was just a floor -- Paulina -- pads are technically a different tool than a floor--under the massing and topography tab--which either pulls up topography to the bottom of it, or depresses topography. 

 

They're handy in some cases.
