" " "...Isn't there an AUGI camp coming up there soon?..." I haven't heard anything about an AUGI camp coming to Reno but that doesn't mean that one isn't coming here..." Yeah! Reno AUGI CAD Camp October 7th: http://www.augievents.com/Reno/tabid/382/language/en-US/Default.aspx It doesn't show it on the website, but if you register this week (by Sep 19), you get a 50% discount if you use the code “2for1reno” at the end of the registration. There is also a student rate, if you can use it, and you can knock 50% off of that, too. " Thanks again for the e-mail Jon and the info. Theres going to be 4 of us going to the AUGI Camp and yes Ric is my Dad.-Dominic

I had a great time, too. Jody Bryan from PK Electrical later told me that he knew who you were, and I wish that I had met you. Also, it looks like I will be teaching an Intermediate/Advanced Revit class at TMCC in the Spring if there are enough people asking for it. Please let me know if you think of anyone who might be interested.

I might even be interested just to keep brushing up on my skills and maybe even learn something new.

The first Revit class at TMCC just finished, and was really successful. I just found out yesterday that we will be having a more advanced class next semester, but it won't be listed for a day or two. I'll post the call # as soon as I get it.

Ok sounds good! Do you know what the concentration of the class will be on?

TMCC just listed an Intermediate Revit class that I will be teaching next semester. I don’t have a specific syllabus yet, but I expect to cover topics like: - Good template practices
- Worksharing
- Family creation
- Site tools
- Customizing system families
- Advanced modeling / Massing
- Rendering
- Import/export options
- Phasing
- Design Options
- Advanced Scheduling
- Detailing
It’s the first year that Revit has been taught at TMCC, so it will be flexible depending on the required pace and the class interests. This class will require prior Revit experience. Although it doesn't have any specific prerequisite, it does follow an Introductory class from last semester. Let's talk about the skill level if you have any concerns. Here are the class details: http://www.tmcc.edu/admissions/schedule/spring2009/index.asp?id=44781 I’ve had several people asking about this, and there are only 19 seats, so it could fill up quickly. Please forward this to anyone else who may be interested. Let me know if you have any questions, Jon Stamps, Revit Architecture 2009 Certified Professional, jstamps at tmcc dot edu
