"DID SOMEONE ALREADY HAVE THE CURIOSITY OF CHECKING THE SHADOWS? OR EVERYBODY TRUST BLINDLY ON THE MACHINE?"
I used Revit 8.1 for a construction report for one of my university modules and the shadows/ sunlight on both shadow mode and renderings turned out fine. But I DID set true north and orientate the building correctly with it. :D

Robert is right. Revit should put a warning about the declination. Nineteen degrees, as in our case, really makes the difference to a project that needs to take account of the sun. I'll addres Autodesk a request that Revit 10 Tutorials consider or refer to the magnetic declination of the location, with credits to all participants of this forum.
As soon is I've free time, I'll test the shadows on a topo surface with a sleep slope and post it here.

There is no point rendering to Magnetic north because it changes all the time, so your 19 degrees could be 12 next month or 5 next year... it's always shifting.

Did anyone else get caught out with daylight savings? When I set the location as Melbourne, it only has the option of Vladivostok (GMT +10:00). This means when I tick the box for daylight savings - it applies daylight savings for the Northern Hemisphere. Anyone else have this issue?
