I scaled the pattern down and it is the correct shape just not the correct size. There are two numbers in the formula that are over 2,000 - all of the other numbers seem to match up with the intended size. These are the numbers that are causing the problem it seems.

yes that looks pretty spot on. Attached is a screen capture of my Revit model where I drew model lines for the time being. I really appreciate your time. If you can't get to it till Monday that is cool.

Attached is an updated pattern with the dimensions a bit tighter. I created one block with the four rectangles on the sides.

So the thread wouldn't let me attach the file to my last post =-/ - maybe I have posted too much stuff LOL. The dwg file that I uploaded earlier is the correct size. Feel free to copy the rectangles around the ends to create the full pattern repeat if this is what needs to be done to run the pattern converter. Thank you so much.

The pattern seems to exceed the revit built in limits. I'm not sure how to get around the problem.
I dont have hatchkit for revit, only autocad, maybe someone else can solve the problem or has an idea.
This hatch pattern (i recreated it) lays out perfectly, and is centered.
I can import it into revit without the angled lines. Those are the problem lines.

In fact i can take the whole thing, scale it back by 1/8th and import it at 1:1 and it works fine.
I'm stumped.

Here's a simpler, skewed full-size arrangement that Revit will not load at full-scale but will do so when scaled at 0.8 or less.

You can get arond this by loading the free Hatchkit Add-In for Revit then scale the pattern once loaded to your project.
- load the pattern scaled at 0.1
- open the HatchKit Addin for Revit
- find the loaded pattern and double-click on it
- Set the scaling factor at 10 to 1
- rename the pattern then Add to add a new fill or Replace to overwrite
If you have HatchKit installed, you can simply import the pattern directly to the project.
