I actually tried making the tile as an individual floor and then laying it out in the pattern. It's really complicated to get the tiles to line up perfectly. See attached photo.
I don't know how to insert an individual image onto a floor. Unless I would "split face the floor" like a million times.

now I'm really curious...can you post the images you using? It looks like you got 2 materials defined; one for the main floor tile and one for the floor's tile insets.

I forgot about the in-Revit crop when setting up materials. Usually do it in photoshop as it is much more precise.

Agreed. Photoshop is where my images begin as well. I try to get it perfect there before bringing the image into Revit.

Just worked this up in revit. didnt know exactly what size tile you wanted and since the image you provided was square and herringbone needs rectangle i just used used half the image width and croped at good looking section.
Noticed one of the split tiles was rotated wrong

Here: try this image for your Bump, using the exact same image settings as your colored image. If it doesn't improve the grout lines the way you like, load your original image into Photoshop and convert it to Grayscale and mess around with Bright and Contrast and Blur to try to get those grout to stand out a bit better. You might even overlay this bump with a relief. But, aside from that, it's going to require some fine tuning work - more than I can offer. Good luck.
...you might even explore using another colored image. I can see that it's going to be challenging with this one; not enough contrast.
