BTW - You failed to purge all unused and to compact the file. It took 3 purges to clear everything and the file got down to 1,688 KB.

I was trying to edit my post... anyway, I couldn't get it under 2Mb limit even after erasing everything else and purging. I've shared it here: http://a360.co/1m4a6vM

What I was trying to do was remove the reveals in the areas X-ed out in the attached pic. See if you can get that to work.

Your problem is that you have locked your split face for the "louvers" somehow to this reveal. I suggest you redo these split-faces. << They may have been a bad process.

That's not the problem. I tried it on another wall which had no split faces, and I'm getting the same result. I even tried it with a different profile for the reveal, and still the same.

Apparently what works is to put in the reveals before you put in the window, and even then it's somewhat problematic. Don't know if it's worth it at this point.

I think this vertical has become corrupted. In addition, you had some masking regions like the one shown in the first image. There was one of these on both sides. I don't like the use of masking regions except in rare areas because they can get lost.
I deleted the split faces and masking regions, added three verticals, pulled the end back on each one then moved them into position. As you can see, they all worked.
