Part of the problem here is age. I grew up when there was no such thing as political correctness but we were taught to be polite. I don't care at all about PC because I think that is a cop-out.
My comments to you were in-line. You did not acknowlege the posting about updates but instead questioned my answer. You could easily have said that you needed to look at the updates and I would then not have responded. So, I wrote "... I suggested that you look at your updates and you said nothing. We can't really help you when you don't listen. That is a bad habit in this business and a real waste of time...." << That is not being rude - just a statement of fact. If you think differently then how? To have left your post unsanswered would have let other readers think there was still something else that was wrong.
I'm glad you are looking into the updates as that should clear up your problems.
