Trying out the adaptive sweep.
When I try to place the profile, it will not give me the option to place on work plane.
It only seems to want to be hosted by the ref level.
Any idea why?

Ahh--this would take a long time to explain. The profile has to be hosted on the ref plane of the adaptive point.
In a couple hours I can upload a spline/sweep/adaptive component but I've got a project I need to get out immediately to catch a plane.

Got it to work when I made the profile on a face based generic model.
