Thanks to everyone that has been so supportive thus far. I would like to announce that we have enough donations to send Allen's family a rather nice floral arrangement. I think more importantly, the letter we will be sending. I will post that as soon as I am done along with a link to the arrangement we will be ordering later. First I want to share a message from Allen's sister when after I sent her a link to this thread: " This means so much to me, I miss my brother so much. and it makes me so happy to see he had so many friends at home and around the world. this brings much joy to my heart. God Bless you, thank you so much... " Thanks everyone for supporting Allen's family. These are the people that I do not have an email address to confirm what will be going on the card from the for Allen: <everyone is verified at this point> If you would like to review what I have for you to be sent in the letter to Allen's family, please email me as soon as possible. rkitecsure @g mail.com . I will send you what I am putting on the letter for you so that you can verify it before sending to the printer. Thanks again. You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

First draft, awaiting some response. Comment. This will be sent to the florist or a printer nearby to be delivered with the floral arrangement. http://revittotd.com/revit/video/AllenBall.test.pdf Thanks again everyone. I'm certain this will be a comfort to Allen's family knowing they raised such a nice kid.

Our thoughts and prayers are with AllenBall and his loved ones. May you rest in piece for you are now in a better place. Though I've only chatted with him a few times.... I'm still saddened that he's not here anymore. God bless your family!

Allen often mentioned Revit City when working with me. He really enjoyed his time here! Buddy, you will be missed by your TME friends! I hope you find that trophy buck!

he final letter has been finished and has been sent off for printing. The letter will be mounted by Allen's Firm on boards that they will be presenting along with some of Allen's work and the floral arrangement we have sen to the family. Thanks for everyone's participation. I'm sure this will be a treasure for Allen's family and a great comfort. I will post the final letter momentarily.

Allen was a great reviteer. He was always very funny in the chat room, and available for advice. I am very sad to hear of his passing and will miss him.

To all of Allen Ball’s RevitCity Friends, your letter was greatly appreciated last night at Visitation and brought a bright moment to a sad occasion last night. His family and friends did not realize the reach of his influence on people’s lives. The random comments brought laughter and smiles to almost everyone I watched read them. Part of the letter was displayed right after you pasted the sign-in book and the rest was displayed on a table along with some of the renderings he worked on. The pictures are not the best but not … … … http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/jmbknvc/Allen%20Ball/Photo-0035.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/jmbknvc/Allen%20Ball/Photo-0037.jpg After the Visitation almost everyone from the office went out for a drink to celebrste the life of Jordan Allen Ball. I was able to visit with Allen’s x-girlfriend (or girlfriend, troubled time) about him. The cause of death is still unknown. Allen was found Friday morning in his recliner with his laptop and a bag of cookies by a friend and landlord. They were told by the Doctors it was a fast and painless passing, even though they do not know the cause. Will keep everyone updated as I learn more. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/jmbknvc/Allen%20Ball/LastDrink.jpg
