figured out that you can plug formulas into the elevation box in order to get single-slope faces with more than 4 corners... it was impossible to get this result without using a formula because some of the math gets a bit dirty (like 5.5'/11.5'*1.5" = .717381...... for example. To get the point at the exact height (to eliminate unnessecary valleys and ridges) you can simply plug that formula into the elevation box with an "=" in front of it.

Typhoon, thank you for the video. Also a good solution - especially for more complex shapes that would be more difficult to model perfectly.
