Hey guys, I'm having the exact same problem as kripple51. I'm hoping that since this was posted about a month ago that someone found a solution. I also did update 3 for Revit 2009. System stats: Vista Home Premium, Core 2 Duo T7500 @2.2GHz, 3 GB RAM, Total Virtual Mem 6.19GB Availiable Virtual Memory 4.29GB. I went as far as to DL Revit 2010 but along with other issues I got the same problem. The only time my rendering operated as normal is when I deleted part of my massing. This is obviously an undesirable solution. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I am having the same problem, I am rendering an aerial site plan, there is no sky visible in the rendering, could this be part of my problem? I am also running vista, but have done tons of renderings with no problems, just the two aerial shots I need to render, renders about 10% and then gives me the errorr "Unknown error during rendering calculations. The rendering operations will be cancelled."

You have not told us anything about your system or your problem. This thread was from 2009 and a completely different render engine.
Without knowing anything more, I suggest you use ccleaner to clean your temp directory. A full temp directory often causes render problems.
