Probably revit is based on real world construction so it can have value as a BIM tool
The contractor can't build a structural wall through a structural column on site.
it would also screw up any structural analysis performed by revit or Robot etc
Maybe autocad or paper where they are just lines and hatches would cope.
Thats no help I know, but it might be that Revit is specifically designed not to do the shortcut you want in this instance to maintain the integrity of the structural data.

you may have right. but when i have already the column and I place a wall , the pattern of the column is ok, is not change. well for now i have resolve the problem.
