Anyone know a good resource for downloading .pat files. I need, among other things, a Spanish S tile Roofing pat, and a flat roofing tile like a monier or similar. Couldn't find any searching RevitCity downloads.

Thanks

http://www.cadcorner.ca/hatch.php

Try that site.. The other option is to create it within autocad and bring it into revit.

Do Autocad .pat files work in Revit? Good news to me if so. That would mean I already have what I've been looking for.

Yes, but you´ll have to add this: ;%TYPE=MODEL, (this is line to add to .pat file, it can be MODEL or DRAFTING).

Erland73 The link you sent above rocks. Contains a lot of rocks too. Thanks man. I still don't really have a good flat roofing tile. Thought I did. The wood shake has an uneven bottom, (staggered). I need something a little cleaner if anyone has one.

Thank You

Very much appreciated my friend. I'm on the run but I'll check it out first thing in the morning. The dialog you said to add to the autocad .pat files, where in the file does that go? Probably obvious when I open it up but, I thought I'd ask while I'm posting anyway.

Thanks Again

You're welcome Phil....you have to add it after the pattern name (see image), but save it under another name , if not, it won't work anymore with ACAD...BTW, I visited your site, nice projects, let me say......

Erland73,

Finally got to try you.pat file and I must be doing something wrong. I had to change the dialog to drafting to get it to accept it but when done I had a blank area.
