I've been working on a sloped topography where there is a road that winds itself up the slope. Because of the steep angle of the slope the road keeps taking the angle of the hill as opposed to cutting into the slope. I tried cutting the road out of the topography, but when I manipulate the road so that it doesn't have the effect of sliding down the hill, it begins to pull away from the original topo creating gaps between where the road and topography meet.
Would anyone know how to create this condition so that the road and the topography are acurate.
The method I used to create the topography was to import the surveyed topo lines from cad and use the import instance command under the toposurface menu.
I also tried to bring a rhino based surface into revit via a .csv point file. This however did not work, and I'm not sure why.
Thanks,
Corey
