We are a small AEC firm specializing in high end coastal residential construction. We model everything in revit, complete with modelling structural elements, just like Autodesk taught us to. We are producing a custom project almost 1 per week. Arch & Struct models are great, documents are good, renders are fantastic.
But for years we are struggling to find a smooth workflow for our structural analysis.
Preparing the revit analytical model, and getting the required reports from Robot seems to be very time consuming, and not really up to our standards.
After hours and hours of research, I just have to ask:
Has anyone really had full success with ROBOT?

Great post David, I'm curious the replies you might get and I will reserve my experience for a little bit . . . .
Don't be shy people. I think this is a great discussion. Let's hear your valuable input including from moderators and all the other great REVIT experts that contribute here.
I believe the latest ROBOT tools need to be put though the cloud for analysis ?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

No we are using Revit 2018 (on subscription, but we are slow to upgrade) We send directly to Robot Professional 2019.
I am not sure if Revit 2019 is different.
