I have created a slab family which requires holes in different positions, I want to load the family and then adjust tohe hole position within the model, is this possible i assume im missing something ?

We use a face based family to do this. It has a void that controls the wxhxd and cuts the host. When you set the d thicker than the host, it is a hole....otherwise you can create depressions.
